What consumes one of my AI systems?

A new system slot is consumed when you submit an AI system for its first security review. Re-analyzing an existing system after architecture changes does not consume another new-system entitlement. Manual edits, browsing, versioning, and exports on existing systems do not consume system slots either.

Does re-analyzing a system count as a new system?

Accepted Answer

No. Only the first submission of a genuinely new AI system consumes an entitlement slot. Re-analysis, architecture updates, evidence work, versioning, and exports on that system do not consume another new-system entitlement.

Why does the Evaluation tier require a work email?

Accepted Answer

The Evaluation tier is designed for security architects, AI governance officers, and AppSec engineers evaluating Drel for organisational use. A work email helps us ensure the evaluation reaches the right people. Paid plans (Professional and Team) do not require a work email.

Question 4

Do I need a credit card to start the Evaluation?

Accepted Answer

No. You can start your 30-day Evaluation with just your work email — no credit card required. At the end of the evaluation you can choose to subscribe to Professional or Team, or your account will revert to read-only access to your existing reviews.

Can I cancel anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time from your account settings — no questions asked, no cancellation fees. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Yearly plans are non-refundable, but you keep full access through the end of the year you’ve paid for.

How does annual billing work?

Accepted Answer

Annual plans are billed once per year and include 2 months free compared to monthly billing. Professional annual is $1,490/year (vs $1,788 monthly) and Team annual is $4,990/year (vs $5,988 monthly).

What happens when I reach my system limit?

Accepted Answer

You’ll see a notification as you approach your limit. Existing assessments remain fully accessible — you can browse, edit, export, and share them. You just can’t submit a new AI system for review until your billing period resets or you upgrade to a higher plan.

Question 8

What happens to my assessments if I cancel?

Accepted Answer

Your assessments are never deleted. If you cancel, your account becomes read-only at the end of the billing period — you can still view, export, and share all existing reviews. If you resubscribe later, everything is exactly where you left it.

Question 9

What is BYOK, and which plans include it?

Accepted Answer

BYOK (bring your own model key) lets you run Drel’s analysis on your own model provider account. It is available on Enterprise plans only, with private routing via AWS Bedrock or Azure OpenAI, VPC / private deployment, and full auditability.
